Herr-Voss Stamco® has two Electro–Discharge Texturing Machines “EDT” capable of texturing rolls from 8 inches (203 mm) in diameter to 32 inches (813 mm) in diameter with body lengths up to 130 inches (3,300 mm). We can achieve roll surface textures from 15 RA to 500 RA.We have the ability to follow any type of roll contour and can hold tolerances of plus and minus 5 RA points from end to end.

We also offer UniChrome™ a new texturing process. This process imparts a spherical crown to the surface peaks to provide a more uniform texture and longer rolling campaigns.

In addition to roll texturing, Herr-Voss Stamco has the ability to chrome plate rolls from 7/8" inches (22 mm) in diameter to 44 inches (118 mm) in diameter, up to 204 inches (5,182 mm) in length. The vertical chrome plating cells are operated under strict statistical process control.
